Welcome Bronze Base... our fuss-free face tanner to give you a total bronzed glow this Summer!

We thought we’d put together a blog to give you all the deets you need to know!

Firstly out to simplify the whole face tanning process with our newest launch that gives a layer of sunkissed skin overnight. Bronze Base contains hyaluronic acid for added hydration and VIT E for skin nourishing and best of all our Limited Edition pack contains a complimentary mini buffer face tan brush to say bye bye to fake tan hands.

Shades;

Light/ Medium - This is ideal if you are fairer or like a more natural colour. Apply 1-2 drops for a light glow or 3-4 for a deeper glow.

Medium/Dark - This is perfect if you are someone who is naturally sallow or likes to wear fake tan.Apply 1-2 drops for a light glow or 3-4 for a deeper glow.

How To Wear;

Dispense your desired amount of pumps onto your brush and blend onto moisturised skin, neck and ears if you'd like.

Or mix Bronze Base into your serum / moisturiser for a more natural results. Jump into bed and let Bronze Base work its magic overnight! Its fast absorbing, streak free with no fake tan smell.

Staying Power:

The colour lasts 2-4 days. We recommend re-applying 2/3 nights after your initial application if you want to continue the colour or mix it into your serum/moisturiser for a more natural add on bronzed glow.

And of course it’s Cruelty Free, Vegan & there's no Preservatives!!

Top Tips on how to apply Bronze Base;

Firstly pop on a headband so that you can see your full face and it's really important to tan right up to the hairline to get the most natural glow.
Make sure your skin is squeaky clean, and like preparing for body tan, prep the skin by cleansing and exfoliating to get rid of any dry skin.
Apply your moisturiser / serum as you usually would and then apply Bronze Base all over using your mini buffer brush!
Make sure you apply your tan and serum / moisturiser all over the face, right up to the hairline, and down around the jawline to blend it in with your body tan.
If you want, you can pop a little vaseline onto your brows so that you don't stain them.
Bronze Base generally give me a glow for about 3 days, they are actually quite long lasting and the lovely thing it is that the tan wears away very evenly.

Cleanse and Moisturise as per your usual routine to keep you skin looking amazing!

PS.. We got lots of lovely ladies together to do our campaign video. Some who we had never met before that offered up their services and it was fantastic! We wanted sensitive, oily, dry skins ... you name it to get involved in our testing and just look are how they got on!!

All Before pictures were taken on a Friday evening then we sent our lovely ladies home with their samples pots and called them back in Saturday morning!

Louise: Wearing Medium/Dark

I chose the Medium/Dark shade because I am quite sallow, I was slightly conscious that it might be too dark but it was absolutely perfect. I also have quite oily skin aswell so I did think it could make it shiny but it was brilliant and dried in so quickly too. I also loved applying it with the brush it was so soft and made sure you got into all of the nooks and crannys.

Sharifa: Wearing Medium/Dark

I was very impressed with using Bronze Base Medium/Dark especially that I have never used face or fake tan before. I have very sensitive skin but there was no reaction at all and it was easy to apply. It dried in really quick so there was no waiting to get into bed and the best thing was that there were no marks or stains on anything! Looking forward to using the product especially during winter to just give my skin a bit of a lift and healthy glow!

Vicki: Wearing Medium/Dark

I have dry skin with some acne scarring from a younger age so I was conscious that the tan might highlight these and the redness but in fact it didn't at all and I even felt I could wear no makeup which I would never say! I chose Medium/Dark and didn't have to use a lot - I even applied this onto my neck and chest and it came up really nicely. I had never applied tan with a brush before and it was brilliant especially to avoid fake tan hands.

Siobhan: Medium / Dark

I chose Medium/Dark given I am a bit more sallow and it was perfect. Applying it with a brush was a new concept for me and it was fantastic. It applied so evenly and quickly and absorbed in really well. I am just back from Spain and I always protect my face in the sun so its always lighter than my neck and body - having Bronze Base has allowed me to match up my face to my neck without needing actual foundation.

Margarite: Light/Medium

I have never used face tan before and I was so surprise when I woke up glowing and Ill be wearing it from now on! I suffer with psoriasis so my skin is very sensitive but when I applied Bronze Base there was no tingling sensation and I was delighted with it - it was also my first time to apply it with a brush and I loved it.

Marina: Light/Medium

I really feel like I don't need half as much makeup when wearing Bronze Base. I suffer with breakouts from time to time and so would be conscious of applying tan in case it clogged my pores but this is really great on sensitive skin.

Elaine: Light / Medium

I suffer with dry skin and would have always been conscious that tan on my face would be patchy however this went on so well and didn't dry it out at all. I love the colour and it really matched the body tan I wear.

Kate: Light / Medium

I was thrilled with Bronze Base - the brush made it easy to apply, covering all areas of the face. From the minute I applied it, I found my skin had a "glow". The light/medium shade blended perfectly with my pale skin, which I found was a problem with other facial tans! As I have combination skin, I was weary of adding an oil product to my face, but was delighted to find Bronze Base absorbed perfectly into my skin & didn't clog any pores. I cannot wait to use this product again & make it part of my tanning routine!

Naoise: Medium /Dark

I have really dry and sensitive skin and so would always avoid applying fake tan onto my face usually but I was really suprised by Bronze Base. There was absolutely no irritation, no fake tan smell and no dryness at all. It was a really natural even glow with no patches and I thought the brush was amazing to have it with it to apply. I thought the Medium/Dark was the right amount of dark without being orange and it still looked natural on!
