Bare Basics Nude 01 : Get the Look

Our latest launch, Bare Basics, is a 6 piece collection featuring two brand new palettes Nude 01 & Nude 02, three double ended Brighten & Define kohl liners in Nude/Black, Nude/Brown & Nude/Rust Brown, and a brand new Liquid Lustre, with a liquid lipstick on one end and a neutral gloss on the other. 
Each palette features a bronzer, blush, cream highlight & tinted setting powder to dress up the complexion and 3 eyeshadows to sculpt & smoke out the eyes. The perfect palette for any look, any occasion, anywhere.
Let's dive into Bare Basics Nude 01 and discover just how versatile this palette can be.
First, let's take a look at the swatches. These easy and wearable tones can give you your' everyday barely there' face or dress you up for some full on 'out out' glam.
Look 1:
Think, Natural, glowing, everyday glam
For prep:
For the base:
For the complexion:
- Start by sweeping the Setting Powder over the areas you want to set in place or anywhere you need to control shine
- Tap the Cream Highlight onto the high points of the face
- Smile, and pat the Blush onto the apples of the cheeks
For the eyes:
- Take the Medium Matte Shadow through the crease.
- Use your finger or a smaller brush to apply shimmer to the lid.
- Lastly, apply a light layer of MyMascara to your lashes!
For the lips:
Look 2:
Think Sculpted cheekbones and lightly defined eyes.
For prep:
For the base:
For the complexion
- Dust the Setting powder lightly under the eyes and anywhere you wish to control shine
- Take the Bronzer on a fluffy brush & lightly blend under the cheekbones & around the hairline
- Tap your Cream Highlight onto the high points of the face, cheekbones, brow bone, tip of the nose etc.
- Sweep your blush from the apples of the cheeks back towards the temple to give sculpted, lifted look.
For the eyes:
- Blend Medium Matte Shadow through the crease, using circular motions and a light pressure
- Use the Dark Brown Shadow to smoke out and deepen the outer corner, applying and blending out the edges so there are no harsh lines
- Take the Brighten & Define Eyeliner Duo in Nude/Rust, & apply the rust end across the lash line for definition & apply the nude into the waterline to brighten!
- Finish with lashings of MyMascara
For the Lips
- Bare Lip Duo Liner
- Liquid Lustre liquid lipstick & gloss
Look 3:
Think Glowing Skin & soft smokey eyes for the glow girl in you.
For prep
For the base
For the complexion
- Dust the Setting powder lightly under the eyes and anywhere you wish to minimise shine
- Take the Bronzer on a fluffy brush, lightly blend onto the cheekbones and upwards to lift the face, build up the bronzer for a more dramatic finish.
- Tap your Cream Highlight onto the high points of the face, cheekbones, brow bone, tip of the nose etc.
- Sweep your blush from the apples of the cheeks towards the temple for a flattering lifted look.
For the eyes:
- Buff the Bronzer through the crease to add warmth & definition
- Use Medium Matte Shadow to deepen the crease and add more depth to the eye
- Use Eyeliner Duo in Nude/Brown to add smokey definition around the lash line.
- Use the Dark Brown Shadow to set the liner and add further smokiness
- Finish the eyes off with a generous coat of MyMascara
For the lips:
- Liquid Lustre in Bare
