There’s oil on the surface when I open my foil – is that normal? Yes, this is entirely normal. In cushion foundations, the hydrating liquid can rise to the surface and appear oily. Simply press your sponge once into the mesh to absorb this, or use the excess on your face, or wipe it on the back of your hand before applying.
