Get The Look - Aimee Lip Duos!

Hello!

This has been such an exciting week! We launched our Lip Duos last night! It’s always nerve wrecking launching a new product but the reaction has been amazing and we’re just so grateful to everyone for their support!

The whole reasoning behind creating Lip Duos was that I found a lot of people messaging about what lip liner should go with what lipstick - and tah dah welcome Lip Duos! Each Lip Duo has a twist up lip liner on one end, and a creamy lipstick on the other!

Here's how to recreate this really simple makeup look at home - and trust me it is so simple!

Base

For this look I applied Medium Dark Bronze Base the night before. For a more bronzed look I use 4-5 pumps of the tanning drops onto my mini buffer brush and applied all over the face after my moisturiser. I also love using Bronze Base so that I don't have to wear as much foundation the following day!

In the morning I used the Skingredients Skin Veg all over my skin. This is a really lovely light serum which can be used on all skin types, it's just full of hyaluronic acid for hydration and it's non comedogenic which means it won't break you out!

And then I applied Beauty Base all over. This is the one product that I couldn't leave the house without! It has SPF30 broad spectrum which is what we all need to protect our skin from sun damage, and even though we're coming into winter we still need that protection everyday. It also gives the skin added hydration and leaves it with a gorgeous golden glow which can be worn on its own or underneath makeup.

Foundation

Moving onto foundation and concealer next. I used the L'Oreal Infallible Concealer, which is a new one to their range. It's actually quite heave so a little goes a long way and I really like the applicator that goes with it. So I popped a little of this underneath the eye and blended it in with my ring finger and brought my foundation up to meet the concealer.

For my foundation I used the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and applied using the Buffer Brush. This just gets your foundation on really quickly and evenly without packing it on. NARS Sheer Glow has a lovely sheer finish and you can build it up to a more medium coverage. The reason I really like this one is because it's very light and natural looking.

I then set this using the Perfecter Brush and Hourglass Translucent Powder, which can be quite mattifying so again a little goes a long way on this one!

Contour

For this look I used the Medium Matte Bronze, which is the newest one to the Sculpted collection and one of the teams favourites! Using my Double Ended Brush I applied this into the cheekbones starting at the ear and working my way outwards towards the apples of the cheek. I also popped a little around my hairline and down the sides of my nose.

Moving onto Cream Highlight (cannot live without this product!!) I used Golden Hue cream highlight and applied using the warmth of my finger to the tips of the cheekbones, down the centre of the nose and my cupids bow. Just gently tapping the product onto the skin rather than dragging it across the skin.

I then used Peach Gold Glow, the newest member to the Sculpted Powder Highlight family, and using the opposite end of the Double Ended Brush, I applied onto the exact same areas as the cream highlight!

And I finished my contour using Pure Peach blush on the apples of my cheeks using the Setter Brush, and angling this slightly back towards my bronze and highlight so everything is well blended.

Eyes

This is a very simple eye look as I wanted to focus on the flick! I used Medium Matte Bronzer on the crease and lid using The Blender Brush, popped a little Peach Gold Glow into the tear duct to help brighten the eye, and then Charlotte Tilbury Eyecheat on my waterline.

Using my Angle Brush, I used Inglot 77 gel liner to draw my flick. I think this is one of my favourite gel liners, but it honestly doesn't budge once it's on so practise before going straight in! I always apply from the centre of my eye outwards, drawing a thin line, which you can build up but it's much harder to clean up a thick line! When you get to the final lash, turn your brush around and draw the flick back towards your eye. And I then used Benefit They're Real Mascara on my lashes which gives loads of length and I just love it!

Lips

Onto what I used on my lips, I'm so excited that I can finally start saying what I've been using recently! This one is Tan Twin from our new Lip Duo Range and I just love it! This is the perfect peachy nude and on one side we have the twist up lip liner which is slightly darker in shade than the lipstick, and the other end we have a crazily creamy lipstick to perfectly compliment each other! If you want to have a look at the full range you can check these out here!

I hope you liked the edit! Lip Duos are available to shop now!!

Lots of love,
