Get The Look - Summer Pop

Hello!

So I wanted to give you all the low down on our newest limited edition palette. We have chosen these shades, as I think they are the ultimate glowing summer shades to leave you looking like a sun kissed goddess!! I wore this makeup look on holiday in Monaco and I just loved it!

Base

To get that glowing and bronzed look I started off by applying our new tanning serum, Bronze Base, the night before. I use shade Medium / Dark as I just love being really tanned and applied it with the mini buffer brush. You can go as light or as dark as you want by just applying more or less drops, so it's completely up to your own preference. Here I've applied 3-4 pumps and it lasted for 3-4 days!

So starting my makeup the next day I applied Beauty Base all over my face. Beauty Base has SPF30 and normally I'd wear two pumps at home, but as we were in pretty intense heat and sunshine, I'd apply 3-4 pumps of this. And to be honest my face is the only place I didn't get a bit burned!!

Foundation

For my foundation I wore Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in shade 40. I really love this foundation for evenings like this, where it was a bit hotter and I didn't want anything too heavy on my face. This is a gorgeous glowing foundation, and you can completely build it up to the coverage you want. I'd use it a lot at bridal parties and for older skins as it doesn't settle into fine lines and leaves the skin looking illuminated. I didn't wear any setting powder, which isn't like me, but when in Monaco...!!

Contour

I've used the Summer Pop Palette for both my contour and on my eyes. This is our newest limited edition palette with four brand new shades including Medium Matte Bronze which is the perfect shade to wear with a little tan and suits most skin tones. This is more of an intense pigment bronze so lightly apply and build up using your double ended brush. I've used this on my cheekbones, starting at the ear and working towards the apple of the cheek, around my hairline and down the sides of my nose.

Following this I applied Peach Gold Glow Highlight and the opposite end of the Sculpted Double Ended Brush and dusted this on the tips of my cheekbones, down the centre of my nose and along the cupids bow.

And for my blush - which I just adore - I mixed a little of both of our new blush shades, Pink Petite and Peach Bellini, which are both really glowing shades, and popped it onto the apples of my cheeks! I just love the colour pay off of both of these, and you can use on their own, or mix like I did for a really highlighted glowing look.

Eyes

I think you all know how I love to double up products so I also used the shades from this palette on my eyes! This was literally the only palette I brought away with me and I used it everyday. I popped some medium matte bronze onto the lid using my blender brush, and brought this underneath the eye too.

I then used Peach Bellini on the lid using the Taperer, and brought this underneath the eye also. And then using Peach Gold Glow on my tear ducts to help make my eyes pop and along my brow bone!

This was such a quick and easy makeup look, I just popped a slick of Benefit Roller Liner Mascara and also used Benefit Kabrow on my brows in shade 3 to give some definition.

Lips

For my lips I used Buff from the Nude Edition Lip Quad, slightly over-lining my lips by following that natural white line we all have. I always slightly fill in my lips also with liner as it just really helps to help the look last longer and prevents lipstick from bleeding. I then popped a soft peachy lipstick on top to offset the shades of the Summer Pop Palette!
