Get The Look - Pam

Hello!

We're throwing it back to one of our Masterclass looks this weekend! We're in Masterclass mode as we've just launched our next four locations woo hoo! You can check these all out here

Normally we run through the more dramatic look of the night, but today we wanted to focus on a softer day time look.

 Before Makeup;

Base

For Pam's Base I used a Probiotic Serum followed by Beauty Base to prep the skin for makeup and give a gorgeous golden glow to the skin. If you feel like your skin is somewhat oily or you have open pores Benefit Porefessional is a great primer for any event days or occasions as it evens out skin, you only need a pea size amount, which I put this on Pam's T-Zone for this makeup look.

Face

Using the Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer, I popped this onto my finger and applied underneath the eyes. This is a really quick drying concealer so it's important to blend it in as soon as you apply it.

Taking my Buffer Brush I used the NARS Longwear Radiant Foundation and buffed it onto the skin. This foundation is like a mix between the NARS Sheer Glow and the NARS All Day Luminous Foundation. It gives a medium to full coverage finish and also leaves the skin glowing, which is a must for me!!

Using the Perfecter Brush (all of our brushes are now sold separately FYI) I set the face using the Charlotte Tilbury Genius Magic Powder, which helps your base stay in place and also gives a lovely airbrush effect to the skin.

Contour

I used Medium Bronze on Pam following the bone starting at the ear and working my way along the cheekbone blending all the time. Make sure to blend all the time as your contouring to give the most natural finish. You can layer your bronzer to be as dark as you want, bring it around the hairline and down the sides of the nose too!

Using my ring finger I applied Peal Pop, the lightest of our cream highlights along the tips of the cheekbones, and around the temple, down the centre of the nose and along the cupids bow. This one is fab if you like your highlight to stand out!

I then applied Rose Gold Glow onto the exact same areas using the highlight end of the double ended brush, and finished the look with Pinky Hues Blush onto the apples of the cheeks using The Setter Brush. This is ideal for blush as it has an angled head so it works perfectly bringing it back towards the contour.

Brows

For this daytime look I used Benefit KaBrow Get and filled in Pam's brows using the Angle Brush from Sculpted. This is a lovely gel liner that fills in the brows in seconds! Run through the brows with your spoolie before and after applying product to define the natural shape.

Eyes

To prime the eyes I used MAC Painterly. I love this as an eye primer as it prevents your shadow from creasing and there's less fallout of product. I then applied Medium Bronze using The Blender Brush all over the lid just leaving a gap at the brow bone. This is such a soft brush and fits perfectly to the socket so it's the quickest eyeshadow application you can get for a day time look. I just added some Golden Glow Powder Hiighight to the tear duct and lid using the Taperer Brush and brought a little of both beneath the eyes too. To pop the brow bone I used a little Pearl Pop Cream Highlight and dabbed it along using my ring finger. I finished this really simple eye makeup look with a slick of Benefit They're Real Mascara and voila eyes are complete!

Lips

I lined the lips using Rose from the Pink Edition Lip Quad. Top tip here is to follow the natural white line of your lips and line along here, filling the lips in slightly to prevent any harsh lines or bleeding of the lipstick. And then I popped MAC Peach Blossom on top for that lovely pinky finish!

And there you have it, a lovely soft day time makeup look from our Athlone Masterclass! If you would like to have a look at upcoming dates and locations you can check this out here

Hope you liked the edit!

Lots of love,

Aimee xx
