Top tips for banishing under eye dark circles

Life seems to be back to somewhat normal, and the social invites are filling up our diaries again, perhaps all these late nights and early mornings is just us making up for lost time, but you could say our eyes haven’t been feeling the brightest. We’ve popped together some of our fool-proof tips for the eye area so you can wave goodbye to tired mornings and hello to bright eyes!
First up is our new morning saviour, it’s our amazing Brighten Up Colour Correctors! These handy little pots cancel out dark circles, hyperpigmentation, counteract shadows and soften the look of fine lines and imperfections under and around your eyes, hiding a multitude of sins. If you haven’t already tried our Brighten up Concealer … where have you been? Our liquid, mineral under eye brightening concealer will wake up even the drowsiest of eyes.
After using your chosen colour corrector shade, you can go in with our illuminating Brighten Up concealer. These products are designed to work together to correct and cover any dark circles or pigmentation around the eyes. This lightweight formula is designed to be gentle on delicate skin and it contains a hydrating blend of Hyaluronic acid and soothing niacinamide, and works on even the most sensitive skin. To Apply: Simply swipe Brighten Up under your eyes, focusing on the inner corner where usually holds the most darkness and also under the outer corner for a brightening lifted look. Less is always more under the eyes and we recommend using either your ring finger, or our Concealer Duo Brush.
To set your bright eyes in place, we wouldn’t reach for anything else, but Velvet Veil. This is our invisible loose setting powder that works brilliantly to control oil & shine, while still allowing the skin to look radiant. It’s mineral & talc free which means, you don’t have to worry about it irritating your skin or clogging your pores. A combination of cica and niacinamide work to stimulate collagen production and calm the skin, while added hyaluronic acid keeps the skin hydrated, so you never have to experience flat, cakey skin again. As this is a translucent powder, meaning it is practically invisible on the skin, it is perfect for all skin tones & it takes the trouble out of shade matching. Use this on our fluffy Set & Perfect brush to simply dust over your concealer, or shiny areas on the skin.
Lastly, if you’re looking for a ‘bright eyes’ trick that works every time, then what you’re looking for is a nude eyeliner. Our eyeliner duo, created by Aimee & Makeup Artist Tara O Farrell, gives the best of both worlds with a nude kohl liner on one end to open up the eyes, and a black kohl liner on the other end for a smokey night out!
