Get The Look Simona; The Limerick Masterclass Edit

Get The Look - The Masterclass Edit

Today I’m going to be going through the stunning Simona’s look from the Limerick Masterclass in February! This was the second look of the night, emphasising the more dramatic makeup look, and Simona wears it so well!

Prep

To start off Simona’s look I’ve used the Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream Moisturiser and Benefit Porefessional down the T-Zone.

Base

To create the base I've used a mix of NARS Longwear Radiant foundation and the NARS sheer glow. The reason why is due to the longer is heavier and a little more matte, and the sheer glow is a lovely dewy foundation so because I had both products to hand I said why not!! To set the base I used Bourjois Java Rice which is an amazing dupe for the Laura Mericer Glow translucent powder, which suits all skin tones and leaves the skin smooth and illuminated.

Contour

I used our Limited Edition Palette which is pre filled for you! Starting with Medium Bronze, I applied this into the hollow of the cheekbones using the Sculpted double ended brush. Using my finger I then popped Pearl Pop cream highlight onto the tips of the cheekbones in a circular pattern around the temple, down the centre of the nose and on the cupids bow, and followed the exact same pattern with Opal Glow powder highlight and the Double Ended Brush. I finished off the contour look with Pink Swoon blush which is exclusive to that palette and I applied it with the Setter working it outwards a little bit to meet the bonzer, so it all blends nicely together!

Eyes

I popped Sculpted Medium Bronze all over the lid using the blender brush and worked a little MAC Bronze into the edge and crease of the eye, finishing off the eyes with with a dramatic flick by Benefit Roller Liner. A few individual lashes along the lash line really gave the desired effect! For Simona’s eyebrows I popped a little Benefit Ka-Brow in shade 3. This is a great product as it’s a cream gel which really helps to groom and shape the brow and gives lovely definition.

Lips

I wanted to really dramatise the lips on this edit and I think it’s safe to say that Simona rocks it! I used Rouge from the Pink Edition Lip Quad to line the lips. This acts as a primer for lipstick and is actually a necessity when wearing a strong statement lip. A few great options of red lipstick to pop on top would be Charlotte Tilbury Red Carpet Red, MAC Red or the Rimmel Kate Moss Red is another great and affordable option!

We have four more exciting Masterclasses coming up! We'll be in Cork on March 3rd (sold out!) and Galway, Athlone and Kilkenny in April, May & June! You can check out dates and info here

Lots of love,
