Get The Look - Dublin Masterclass

Hello!

We had some gorgeous Masterclasses this year around the country so we wanted to chat through one of the lovely looks. This was from our last one of the year in Dublin Radisson Blu Golden Lane and it was such a fab evening! This was actually our first Masterclass after launching Second Skin so we shade matched everyone on the night too! Here's the low down on how to achieve this look;

Base

I used the Skingredients Skin Veg to hydrate the skin and get the face ready for makeup. We are such huge fans of this in our Sculpted store, it's just a lovely lightweight serum that really hydrates and gives the skin a lovely glow.

To prep the skin I used our very own Beauty Base which is our award winning three in one makeup primer that has SPF30 for protection, Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and a strobe effect so it leaves the skin with a gorgeous glow! Since we launched this in April we've had such amazing feedback and I literally wear it every single day underneath my makeup.

Following this I used a pea sized amount of Benefit Professional along the t-zone, this is ideal for oilier areas and helps your makeup last for longer.

Face

For Kerri's foundation I'm so proud to say that we used our very own Second Skin which is a 100% mineral based foundation with SPF50. I am just obsessed with this. I wanted to create something that was good for your skin and that you wouldn't feel guilty about wearing everyday! Kerri is wearing shade Medium Plus in the matte finish which still leaves the skin looking healthy. It's oil and talc free so it's ideal for someone who wants a slightly matte finish without it drying out the skin!

Eyes

I always start an eye makeup look with the brows as I just feel once the brows are defined, everything else can follow. I used Benefit KaBrow in shade 3 on Kerri, which is the perfect shade for blondes to give added definition.

To prep the eyes for shadow I used MAC Painterly Pot and applied using my ring finger, this is amazing as it helps to keep your shadow in place and prevents creasing and fall out.

Following this I used the BPerfect x LMD palette on the eyes alongside our own Full Face Edit. I also used the Medium Matte Bronzer from our Full Face Edit alongside the Matte Brown Shadow and added a little of the Rose Bronze Shimmer shadow for the perfect lift and sparkle on the lid.

I then used the Benefit Roller Liner eyeliner along the lash line. This is a really easy liquid liner to apply and probably one of my favourites out there for precision.

I then popped some individual lashes from Primark on the outer corners of the eye and MAC Teddy pencil into the waterline for a sultry and smokey effect!

Contour

Using the Double Ended Brush I used Medium Matte Bronzer directly along the cheekbone, around the temple and down the sides of the nose.

I then popped some Champagne Cream highlight onto the tips of the cheekbones, down the centre of the nose and along the cupids bow using my ring finger.

Following this I used the opposite end of my double ended brush and applied Golden Glow Powder Highlight on top of the cream highlight for an added glow!

And I finished off the face using Sunset Sheen blush onto the apples of the cheeks!

Lips

For that statement lip I used our own Sculpted Double Trouble which is a lip liner and lipstick in one. Starting at the outer edges line towards the centre paying attention to the cupids bow. Then fill in using the lipstick on the other end! Statement lips can be tricky so if you make any mistakes just use the definer brush and some concealer or foundation to fix this!

I hope you enjoyed the edit!

Lots of love,

Aimee xx
