The longest month of the year is finally coming to a close, and we celebrated it with our first masterclass of 2020 last night in Limerick! We had the best fun with all our lovely guests and talked through all things beauty. I'm going to give you the low down on my own makeup look today.
I prepped by skin with Skingredients Skin Veg, this is our favourite on the Sculpted Squad team and we always use it for makeovers in our Sculpted Store. It's so gentle on the skin and really hydrating, so it's the perfect pre makeup product.
I followed this with our very own Beauty Base, which is our best selling 3-in-1 primer. What I genuinely love about this is that it is packed full of hyaluronic acid for hydration, but it also has SPF30 for skin protection, and it leaves the skin with a gorgeous golden glow!
Since launching our own liquid mineral foundation, I find it's my go-to everyday. I wanted to create a foundation that was 100% mineral in formula, but that could also give coverage when needed and leave the skin radiant and healthy looking. And so we have Second Skin!! We have both a dewy and matte formula to suit all skin types and it has a medium buildable coverage. I'm wearing the matte finish in shade Medium Plus, which has a lovely golden tone to it. I used 2-3 pumps and applied using my buffer brush all over the skin.
For my contour I used the Original Reloaded Palette which is celebrating my very first palette! In this palette you'll find Medium Bronze, Champagne Cream, Golden Glow and an added bonus of the gorgeous Pink Swoon blush and the best part is this limited edition is just €28!
Using my double ended brush I popped Medium Bronze into the hollows of the cheeks, along the hairline and down the sides of the nose. I then popped my Champagne Cream Highlight along the tips of the cheekbones, down the centre of the nose and cupids bow, using my ring finger to tap the product onto the skin. And using the opposite end of the double ended brush I popped Golden Glow Highlight on top! I absolutely love the blush in this palette, it's a gorgeous glowing pink shade that adds a little glow to the cheeks and it's fab!
I used the NARS eyeshadow base to prep the eyes for my shadow. This is great if your eyeshadow can sometimes crease, or if you get lots of fall out as it keeps your shadow in place.
On my eyes I used the Medium Matte bronzer from our Full Face Edit and applied all over the lid using the Blender Brush (This gets your shadow on so quickly!) I then used our the Matte Brown Shadow shaded out using the definer duo from our Brush Boudoir, again this is perfectly angled to apply in seconds and gives added definition to the eye!
I used a little Golden Glow Highlight from the Original Reloaded on the tear ducts to brighten the eye and then finished with a slick of Benefit They're Real Mascara!
And finishing the whole eye area I used the Benefit Ka Brow Shade 3 on my brows, which is a lovely gel that works to fill and define the brows.
I'm wearing Coffee Combo here which is the perfect combination for an earthy brown lip. This has a cool-tone lip liner with a soft coffee shade lipstick for a sultry neutral lip!
And there you have it! A super easy makeup look that can be achieved in no time!
Lots of love
