Sculpted by Aimee Get The Look Pippa VIP

Hello! I’m looking back on these gorgeous sunny pics from this shoot where I had the pleasure of doing the beautiful Pippa’s Makeup for her cover of VIP Magazine. To inspire ourselves and to get some summer inspo here’s how we achieved the look!

All the laughs were had too - we had so much fun on this shoot!

Base

Starting off I primed Pippa’s skin with Sculpted Beauty Base which includes SPF30 for protection, Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and it leaves the skin with a gorgeous golden glow. The inspiration for makeup came from the glowing goddesses of Victoria Secret's Fashion Show, so glowing bronzed skin was in order for the shoot!

Foundation

Keeping with the makeup inspiration for this shoot, for Pippa’s base I used the NARS Longwear Radiant foundation. I really love this one as it has medium to full coverage but there’s still a lovely dewiness to the foundation.  I used the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder to set the skin as it was quote warm that day and this really helps makeup to stay in place. It also adds a filter to the skin so its ideal for photographs and helping the longevity of makeup.

Contour

For that glowing contoured look I used the Gold Edition Sculpted Palette, which includes Medium Bronze, Champagne Cream Highlight, Golden Glow Highlight and Sunset Sheen Blush.

Lightly apply Medium Bronze into the cheekbones, starting where the bone meets the ear and working along the bone. You can also apply the bronze around the hairline and down the sides of the nose. You can always build up with bronze but don't go too heavy at the start - It always makes it easier when I use the Sculpted Double Ended Brush!

 Check out that highlight!!

Following this I tapped Cream Champagne Highlight along the tips of the cheekbones, in a C shape around the temple, down the centre of the nose and along the cupids bow using my ring finger. This helps to warm cream highlight up and makes the application really easy. Tapping it onto the skin also ensures that you're not taking any of you foundation off.

I then used the opposite end of the Sculpted Double Ended Brush to apply Golden Glow highlight in the same areas as the Champagne Cream Highlight, just lightly dusting onto the tips of the cheeks, down the centre of the nose and cupids bow. I love using this highlight on collar bones and on the eyes too!

And to finish the contour I used Sunset Sheen, this blush has a glow in it, keeping with the makeup theme and building on that gorgeous glow. Sunset sheen is a peachy pink finished blush which suits all skin tones!

Eyes

On Pippa's eyes I the Sculpted Eye Brushes and a mixture of the NARS Wild Thing Palette. I also used MAC Bronze on the lid and brought both underneath the eye for a smokey eye effect.  For Pippa's eyeliner I used the Charlotte Tilbury Bedroom Black Creamy Khol Pencil. I smudged this out using the Angle Brush, which is a lovely way to achieve definition without doing a flick, and you can still smudge the liner outwards for a more relaxed, but defined finish.

To give that bright eyed look, I used Charlotte Tilbury Eye Cheat in the waterline. This is a nude eyeliner, and I really like it because it's not too white or yellow in toned, it's a true nude and brightens up the eyes perfectly! And the final touch on the eyes were lightweight band lashes, just used for effect on the side of the eyes for a natural looking flutter!

Lips

I lined the lips using Buff from our Nude Lip Quad and topped this off with a Peachy Pink Lipstick which was really creamy in consistency. And to keep the vibe of Victoria Secrets glowing skin we also used MAC clear lipgloss on top to give that gorgeous full and glossy pout!

Team work makes the dream work!! Thanks to this gang for a great day!!

Hope you enjoyed the edit,

Lots of love,

Aimee xx
